Music Creations Done With Harmony

Roxanne Megna has over 30 years experience as a church musician.  She began playing the piano at age 5 and continued lessons through her Senior year of High School.  She competed at District and State Solo Ensemble and received a 1st at the State level each of her High School years.  She began accompanying in the 6th grade.

She has been a member of Bethany Lutheran Church for over 25 years and has been part of making music there for that time.  She leads the Contemporary Band there and also shares the duties in playing organ for church services.  Playing for weddings has also been part of her music service at Bethany.

Roxanne is a member of the  MTNA (Music Teachers National Association),  WMTA (Wisconsin Music Teachers Association), & FVMTA (Fox Valley Music Teachers Association) - which is a local group giving a local web of support for teachers in the area.  It is a friendly  group of professional supportive teachers offering a wide variety of experience and knowledge.  They meet for monthly meetings and keep members up to date on events their students can be involved in.

Roxanne has been married to her husband Tony, a Police Officer for almost 30 years and they have 3 grown children -- and 2 dogs (Turk & Tazer)!  They have become grandparents for the first time and look forward to visits from Nashville or visits down to see her as often as possible.  Roxanne enjoys hiking, nature and living near the woods with deer and many birds, etc. She also enjoys gardening, with the usual vegetable and flower garden, but is especially interested in herbal gardening.  She also loves growing her own raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, apples, and grapes.
